Amazon vs FTC - or the question of what puts the American consumer first 👩🏻⚖️
The US Federal Trade Commission thinks it has something against Amazon as it accuses the platform to have established “monopoly power to inflate prices, degrade quality, and stifle innovation for consumers and businesses”.
Unsurprisingly, Amazon doesn’t think so: “The FTC’s lawsuit against Amazon would lead to higher prices and slower deliveries for consumers—and hurt businesses” [About Amazon].
