Happy Sunday,
Here’s a quick roundup of last week’s news:
Chart of the Week:
Great write up by Oana Padurariu and Andrew Bell around the Backbone of Amazon’s Rufus. There’s a lot in here and we recommend the read.
To optimize your listing for Rufus, we’d recommend doing that automatically with Autopilot.
Jan 21 Title Compliance Deadline
Amazon’s new title policy is set to go live next week.
What to expect:
For non-compliant titles, Amazon will AI-generate new titles and implement those unless you object to that individually per listing with an explanation within 14 days
We have seen Amazon’s updates go off-board the last 6 months, so we do suggest checking-in on those regularly (… a ‘pencil’ just isn’t the same thing as a ‘beard pencil’). So run your check, or automate those.
More on the policy, plus a way for you to have this done automatically be Autopilot and ensure policy compliance for you while lifting your sales in this blogpost.
